Disney SuperKitties get Su-PURR Upgrades
These Extra-Ordinary Disney Animated Cats are UPGRADED and Su-Purr Charged!
Who are the Disney SuperKitties, and when did they become Su-Purr Charged? The quartet of crime-fighting felines television show was added to the Disney JR and Disney+ lineup just over two years ago. In that short span of time, they have imprinted their tiny pawprints into toddlers’ hearts ever since. These lovable little cats encourage their young viewers to be brave, strong, smart, and kind in each heartwarming episode. About a year ago, the Disney SuperKitties entered our lives, and Nana had to quickly learn whether Bitsy was pink or blue and whether Sparks was a girl or boy. I was just getting the hang of their tools and catchphrases when Season Two started and the kitties had evolved. It’s now time for an updated NanaT tutorial on the upgraded SuPURR Charged SuperKitties.

What are the SuperKitties Su-Purr Charged Powers?
Introducing Su-PURR Ginny
Ginny is one of the two girls on the team. Her fur is orange, and she is an American Shorthair cat. She sports a Pink SuperKitty when in superhero mode. Ginny is the team’s leader and reminds them all to be brave when starting each mission. She has special claws that allow her to climb quickly. Su-Purr Charged Ginny has more agility and usability with her iconic claws.

Introducing Su-PURR Buddy
Buddy is one of two boys and the strongest cat on the team. He is a calico cat with pink, white, and light blue fur. When he is poised to fight crime, he dons an orange SuperKitty jumpsuit. Buddy is the largest of the Disney SuperKitties, with a big head and even bigger heart. His superpower is super strength and the Furball Blitz maneuver. This is where he transforms into a big pastel ball of fur that rolls down objects when on a mission. Su-Purr charged Buddy is upgraded to do a Furball Blitz Bounce rather than the roll he used in season one.

Introducing Su-PURR Sparks
Sparks is the older brother of Buddy but a bit smaller. Sparks is a Bengal breed with yellow spotted fur. He is a bit timid and sensitive but the smartest cat of the four. When Sparks goes into SuperKitty mode, he wears a purple suit and mask. He is the high-tech idea kitty and problem solver using his SuperKitty kit. With this amazing little tool kit, Sparks builds communicators, transportation vehicles, and numerous other tools to help the SuperKitties fight crime in Kittydale. In Su-Purr Charged Season Two, Sparks’ boots can go “Turbo Mode” and take on different forms.

Introducing Su-PURR Bitsy
Bitsy may be the smallest of the team of feline superheroes, but she is also the kindest. She is a Munchkin cat with snow-white fur and the second girl on this crime-fighting team. Her favorite toy is a green mouse, aptly named Mr. Greenie. When Bitsy enters the SuperKitty portal, she comes out wearing her light blue mask and jumpsuit. But don’t let her size fool you. Her itty-bitty Bitsy Boots have super speed when needed. She is also the team’s historian, recording the lessons learned from each adventure on her vlog. When Su-Purr charged, Bitsy’s boots now blast off faster than ever before.

Where Do the Disney SuperKitties Live?
The team of super felines lives in their kittycat form at the Purr ‘N’ Play, a fictional city, Kittydale. The Purr ‘N’ Play is an indoor cat playground owned by a human, Amara. It is a drop-off place where cats come and go, like a kitty daycare. However, when trouble arises, the kittens head to their underground bunker, the SuperKitty Cavern. The four cats transform into SuperKitties as they slide down through the portal to headquarters.
Who are the Villains in Disney SuperKitties?
While it is hard to call the bad guys Disney’s SuperKitties’ actual villains, there are a few notable characters that do cause the chaos and trouble in Kittydale. Here are the four most notable SuperKitties villains and their cohorts.
Cat Burglar with Granny Catarina and Sassy This trio of gray tabby trouble is headed by none other than the sleek, stealthy Cat Burglar. He teams up with his Granny Catarina and cousin, Sassy, to swipe things from other Kittydale residents.
Lab Rat and Otto This little duet includes a white lab rat scientist and her purple octopus pal, Otto. This techy scientist works with her assistant to create unique inventions to obtain anything and everything cheesy in Kittydale.
Mr. Puppypaws is a small brown and white dog with a Danish accent. He likes to ride around Kittydale in his motorized stroller, causing chaos by grabbing up toys and treasures from other pets.
Zsa Zsa with her Aunt Lola and Budgie Squad Zsa Zsa is a vain, white cockatoo with a bright yellow crest of feathers on top of her head. She loves to indulge in luxury and perform. She loves to sing and dance along with her Aunt Lola. Zsa Zsa has a squad of little budgies who are her henchmen on her escapades as she torments other residents of Kittydale.
